Free CompTIA A+ practice questions covering Core 1 (220-1101) and Core 2 (220-1102). Hardware, networking, OS, security and troubleshooting with full explanations.
CompTIA A+ (Core 1: 220-1101 and Core 2: 220-1102) is the most widely recognised entry-level IT support certification globally and the standard credential for help desk, desktop support, and field technician roles in South Africa. This practice set covers both exams: Core 1 (mobile devices, networking, hardware, virtualisation, troubleshooting) and Core 2 (operating systems, security, software troubleshooting, operational procedures).
CompTIA A+ questions are scenario-based โ you will be described a problem and asked to identify the most likely cause or the correct troubleshooting step. This set is designed to build the scenario-recognition skills that the actual exam tests, not just memorisation of facts.
Both Core 1 and Core 2 must be passed separately. The passing score is 675/900 for Core 1 and 700/900 for Core 2.
